So I had 15 people staying at my house over Thanksgiving weekend. It was fun (mostly), but I am the happiest that I never once got homesick. I almost always feel lonely or sad over the holidays. Living in Phoenix is the BEST and I love my friends, but during the holidays I miss my family the most. My in-laws are a good second family to me. I was happy to host everyone and hope to do it again, anytime. The only thing I would do different is have a dish chart. I guess I hate dishes more than I knew.

During the family planning of this trip, I set up a time for Jessica, a girl at church, to take our family photos. I was SO HAPPY we did family pictures, even though most of the men complained (or was that just my husband) and photos of young kids are hard to get. The photos from the session will be done next week - THESE photos are just a few snap shots that my friend Jackie took with my MIL's point and shoot camera.

Can you tell that is was a beautiful day? It really was. The one year didn't want to sit still for a photo, but who can blame her. Wouldn't you rather go play with the ducks? I would.

My RHM is so dang cute!

This is my SIL Becky. She is gorgeous and used to model. Can you tell?

ALL the cousins (minus Sophie and Maura who were in Texas this Thanksgiving).
After the photo session, we loaded up the cars, stopped for gas and went to...

ORGAN STOP PIZZA
We all ate pizza and listened to/ sang along with the music. Love this place. It was super crowded, but everytime I go it is crowded. The good clean family fun is SO WORTH the crowds.

The boys.

The babe.
After dinner we headed to...
Mesa Temple Lights - a family annual tradition.

Cousin Haydan. She is staring at the nativity scene. She is the cutest and sweetest little cousin.

This was cousin Haydan's favorite lights - the tunnel!

These two LOVELY LADIES are single. I am ready to set up my sister and these to SIL. Anyone want to go on a blind date next time they are in town? I need some eligible bachelors on speed dial. (I am being serious. My sister, not pictured here, is coming in town for 10 days in December. I am ready to be a matchmaker.)

The camels and wisemen are my favorite part, so look at the background and not RHM closed eyes. ;)

Notice the temple in the background lite up. This is a beautiful time of year. I am humming "We wish you a Merry Christmas" as I type this post. Love the music this time of year brings into my heart. LOVE it!
