A little bit of this a that and a plane ride home.
Travis had to go to the Big Island on Wednesday for work, so I played all day.
I drove up to the north shore for the 2nd time. I found turtle beach. Very nice and I went snorkeling for the first time. YES!

This pedicure that Andrea got me for my birthday made it to Hawaii. Thanks, Andrea!
Me with the turtle. Volunteers were everywhere and one took this shot. You had to stay 5 ft away from the turtles, even when snorkeling. That was hard.
Earlier on Wednesday - I went to the Swap Meet at Aloha Stadium. Great souvenirs really cheap!

Lunch at the swap meet.
Before we came home from Hawaii on Thursday at 3pm (arrived in Phoenix at midnight - ugh!)

I went through a rainforest on the mountains on Pali Hwy.
Great shot of me, but there is a small water fall in the background. I was all wet in this picture.

This was the amazing road to get to the Pali lookout.
The reason I was in my swim suit and cover up in the Pali pictures, was because I just came from snorkeling with Travis.

It was amazing. We got there at 6:15 am. Didn't have to pay or watch the silly movie about the reef. Early birds caught a break.
We had a great trip in Hawaii. I can't wait to go back. Someday...

Haleiwa Joe's - dinner on night 3 in Hawaii

Every night has been AMAZING here in Hawaii. Tonight we went out with Lee and his wife, Karen, from Travis' company. Work dinners are the best! Thank you or as they say here, MAHALO! We went to the east part of O'hau and had dinner in what seemed to be a rainforest complete with actual rain that made water falls on the mountains. WOW! I am in awe of the beauty here. Oh, and the desserts weren't too shabby either. Sad to be going home tomorrow. Back to the full time job.
(Thanks, Pam for being the "Mom" while I was gone. You are the best!)

Pearl Harbor, USS Bowfin Submarine, and fun shots before dinner

Model of Memorial above the USS Arizona (huge battleship)

Boat ride to Memorial (on right) and the USS Missouri (on the left)

1,177 Soldiers lost their lives on December 7, 1941. The USS Arizona is the resting place of 1,000 men. These are their names.
This next part was touching to me. This is the list of names of survivors of the USS Arizona that have since past and asked to have their finally resting place be with their shipmates.Sunset - view from dinner. Another day in paradise.

These keys were in the sub. Just thought it looked cool. Lots of knobs and locks on a sub. I wonder who they got anything done and opened quickly?
