After a busy Saturday of Primary Program Practice, RHM's soccer game, and Agent J's flag football game, we grabbed a quick dinner of salmon and salad and headed to the BOO FEST at the local park.
It is FREE event and loads of fun. This was our first year attending.

Princess has always had a dream of going up in a hot air balloon. She came the closest tonight.

She sat here for a quick picture and then the man blew the fire and scared her TO DEATH! Not sure if this is her dream anymore. Seriously, scared to death when the fire was right above her head.

RHM loved the bouncy houses. He also loved his Wolverine claws.

He waited the longest for the rock wall, but hey - the whole night was FREE. So it was worth waiting for.

This is Agent J as Snake Eyes from G.I. Joe. If you look close you can see his eyes and serious face. He loved this costume - but I sure he would never admit it.

Sweetie had a lot of fun dancing to the live band, riding the hay ride twice, stealing her siblings candy, and charming candy from the other booths. The balloon flower in her hand was another popular booth. I think Travis waited in line for 40 minutes so RHM could get a balloon sword.

We bumped into a bunch of friends. This is Kathy from my old ward and she and her husband are the best. They are also King and Queen of the kettle corn.

This is Sweetie on the first hay ride! Guess what? She just happened to sit by Olivia and Olivia's mom (that is what Sweetie calls her) and Annie and her dad, too. This is a great friend and partner in fundraising crime at the kids' school.

We ran into Vicki, my favorite person who told me about this event. If it wasn't for her, we wouldn't have gone. THANKS Vicki! Vicki is also my partner in crime with the Spring Festival. She puts up with me in SO MANY ways!

This is my favorite piano student and her friend (it's a girl under that mask). For safety I won't name names, but they are great girls!

BUT mostly, it was a fun
family event. It was a great pre-view for Halloween next week. (The boys costumes will stay the same, but I have a feeling we will see new costumes for the girls. Stay tuned.)
